Welcome to the fourth episode of Smart Art Business, a podcast created to help artists thrive.

If you are reading this, you are most likely an artist that invests a lot of time, energy and resources into creating your artwork.  Over the coming months, we will be chatting with artists and industry professionals to bring you ideas and suggestions on how to refine your work, increase your sales and broaden your audience.

Rae Trujillo is a self-taught welder and fabricator from Texas who has been an artist for as long as she can remember. She discovered her passion for metal work initially working with sheet metal and later learning how to weld, her true passion. After diligently studying YouTube videos Rae found her own style and creative voice.

Rae experienced serious hardship during her life including homelessness, through her artwork she was able to transcend the adversity she experienced and inspire others to do the same. Not only has Rae gone on to create striking, metal masterpieces but she can also be found actively giving back to those less fortunate.

A true ‘Wonder-Woman, when Rae is not making art she is a firefighter, Mom of two, advocate for victims of sexual abuse, and motivational speaker.
